Can't argue with O'Gara as Number 1. Would've had Graham Henry in there though.......

Agree ROG gets the #1 slot for his "star" turn in 2009 - unfortunately for him (& he has been a great servant to both club & country).

As always, I think you should judge players with your own mince pies when you have sat watching them a few feet away on the pitch, not reading the tabloids or listening to TV pundits.
I wouldn't hear a word said against O'Gara, but whenever I've been pitchside at a game it has been brutally obvious that Martin Johnson's impact, physically and mentally, was massive.

This would be an interesting thread if serious.

Johnson running off to get stitched up and then legging it back on again is the story I most enjoy telling.

Yes yes yes hummph humph. Read title, auto hackles on the rise, then pause, crouch, touch and notice linky thing. Read piece with disgustingly too bright green header for the morning after a night onthe pop.
Read it again, notice the word satire, think David Frost, what's it got to do with rugger.
Return to the tiggers comfort zone and write som rubbish. Wot, time for an early snifter before going out for lunch with my friend Thrasher of the House.

hard to argue with O'Gara but Phil vickery's hysterical jump upwards and backwards every time he met The Beast at scrum time in the first test of the same series must run it close as must the clown coaches who chose him in the first place when Jones and Murray were available
