Re: Another " new" signing
For a club who were constrained by the salary cap from (re) signing Agulla we have made a significant number of "new" signings.
I wonder how many will get on the park for more than 5 minutes?

Really rated Cornwell when he was first here and was disappointed when he left as he is a real talent, would love to see him pushing for a 1st team place

Agreed. I always thought he had huge potential and was sorry to see him go.

Welcome back Matt. Clearly mamma's cooking is also better than the smooth Italian vino!
Re: Another " new" signing
Great video. Good to try and spot all the old tigers. Bit quick for my poor old eyes but I shall try and download it and slow it down. Saw Julian White looking young in one of the clips!!!TigerLad wrote:Cant remember too much of Matt's highlights so when I was looking through you tube I found this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-REbFtJDP0&feature=fvst
From these highlights he looks like a quality squad player.

I feel more cheered by this signing than by Tait's
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Looks like another new youngster on his way to the academy Luke Jones from Guernsey - another winger

Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

Good to have him back a very talented player & captain, unlucky with injuries but knows the club.
Alos note Cockers mentions Bowden in the Merc article.

To win is not as important as playing with style!

all this money for new backs but not for Horacio. Poo said to Tigger , "Are you playing for Tigers next year?" "No," said Tigger," I have to spend the year sourcing proper food for the catering compnay for whom I work."
Poo said Pooh.

Re: Another " new" signing
I always thought MC never had that bit extra to make him a 1st XV player during his previous stint at the Tigers. There again he was at centre most of the time. So, lets see how he has improved. With Flood and Ford away, he and Bowden will be the 10s I guess
