Obstructive bench persons.
I am increasingly dismayed by the blocking of my view of the match.
Tackle bags, fitness people, and large rugby players.
I want them banned from the in goal area during the match. They seem oblivious to the fact that people have paid about £25 to watch some rugby not a bloke doing a few pressups.
Their hearing isn't great too. "Please move out of the way is not recognised." If David Clayton was still around I would write to him.
They are supposed to be on a bench so have no place in the in goal area.

Firstly, you sit in the wrong part of the ground. We do not have these problems in the Crumbie.Isambard wrote:I am increasingly dismayed by the blocking of my view of the match.

Secondly, you are too polite, "Oi you, **** ****, get your **** back on the bench" they mnight understand.
Thirdly, I understand Simon Cowen is now CEO. Or try Wheelbrace?
Still keeping the faith!

Where do you suggest they warm up?Isambard wrote:

POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE.
Re: Obstructive bench persons.
Yes thank you but one season in the Crumbie stocks was so painful for my b.t.m.
Re: Obstructive bench persons.
I think the club should provide an oven for them to warm up. Also the warm up goes on and on before the match.

In the car park? In the changing room? In front of the dugout (bench)?kpbates wrote:Where do you suggest they warm up?Isambard wrote:

The "In goal" area is part of the field of play. They are in breech of the laws of the game by going there.

Indeed. It seems crazy and daft at the moment.

Don't worry Bill - we've all given you the benefit of the doubt over your imperfections and ready to believe in them!Bill W (2) wrote:I mnake these deliberate mistakes to illustrate that I too am not perfect. But I do try to improve!!fleabane wrote:Simon CoHen, BreAch. Hi Bill!
For when the One Great Scorer comes to write against your name,
He marks - not that you won or lost - but how you played the Game."

You must be really quite out of touch with the rigours of professional sport. A warm up done an hour or more before the player takes the pitch will do him pretty much zero in terms of benefits for avoiding injury before he enters the field of play.
There is no other area to warm up at WR and frankly winning the game and more importantly player welfare comes before the spectacle - and allowing the players to warm up properly before a match is part of that.

Kornboy there is no other spectator sport which prevents the paying public from seeing the game. and if the fragile darlings can't go on the field and play off thebench then they really shouldn't be in the pro game.
It is pathetic and sports science gone mad. Just like the water boys on and off all the time.
The club could have made better provision for this "essential" activity when building the new stand. Instead of taking advantage of the supporters.
