Away Kit

Post by Grannyman »

It would appear that some people on here have more inside info than others, so does anyone have a date when the new away kit will be revealed?

Officially (in other words, what I've told the wife) I'm waiting to see what the new away kit looks like before I decide which to get...... although I reckon I'll have both by Christmas.

Hope it's out soon and is a good one.

Hurry up Tigers and co please!
Forwards win rugby matches.

I would guess that a couple of months of the new home kit for now. New away kit launched somewhere just in time for the pre-season games. Then the euro kit to arrive in oct/nov ish for the first round of the heineken cup.

Spread out to maximise the sales of each. Launch both or all three and people will pick a favourite. Spread out there's more chance of people buying a couple or 3.

If I'm right then all the premiership teams home shirts have a main colour.

Us green, queens multi, Saffers black, Stains green, barf blue, Glaws red, Chiefs black, sale blue, Irish green, Worcs blue, Insects black and falcons black.

Here's a radical idea........ everyone's away kit is WHITE with minimal accent colour.

Problem solved. I'll be in the bar.

Moderators!!! Ban this man from the forum - he's making sense and letting us all down; where's his prejudices and irrational thoughts?.

What I do like is the way Gloucester just wear their red and white kit regardless, home and away. There's not much I like about them but this I do.

I can recall watching RL games on TV with good old Eddie Waring chuckling away when it was so muddy that both sides ended up looking identical.

It didn't seem to bother anyone much.

If London Welsh came up they'd have to change. But that's not likely given ground constraints. Mind you I can see why they don't want to wear it

Who'd want to look like Sarries?

I like the idea of a mostly red away kit for Leicester myself.

See, I think that's just lazy. A bit of originality would go down well.

And it might be an idea to remove the shop name so they don't get their little wrists slapped.

In the NBA they have the opposite of that. Everyone has a white kit for home games and then has a coloured jersey for away fixtures. I think that it is agood idea but I doubt the clubs would want to lose their individuality.
