He's the best winger in the Aviva Premiership, as far as I can see. Can't think of anybody I'd rather have. Surely we have to offer him a contract.

I am confident if there is a way to sign Lucas that is practical,then our board will do it.If it doesn't happen,it will be a shame,but we are the sum of our parts and Lucas has to make the final decision.

Just checked.

It means a slim sharp pointy thing; a needle or a hatpin.

Seems appropriate for a small and exceedingly sharp wing.
