Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
He's free to play again Nov 2 it's ridiculous that this ban includes the summer holidays!
Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
He will be back in action in November and that is supposed to be a punishment?

Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
That'sa result ... for Calum Clarke!
Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
This is why a ban should cover the number of games not a specific period of time.
Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”
Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
Disgraceful, in reality this is a 12 week ban.
12 weeks for inflicting an injury that could destroy a players career, the RFU should have made an example of him.

Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
I hope Tigers now sue for career damages on Hawkins behalf.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Would be a very interesting legal case.jgriffin wrote:I hope Tigers now sue for career damages on Hawkins behalf.
Very bad for the game and for the RFU. And for HHJ J Blackett.
Damages likely to be assessed at between £100K and £1M+
IMHO Hawkins (and Tigers) should go for it.
Still keeping the faith!

Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
One assumes Lancaster will now publicly remove Clark from the Elite Squad?
Permanently?
Permanently?
Still keeping the faith!
Re: Any news on Clark hearing?
it's a disgrace. as others have said, any ban should be for the number of games. He now gets a nice summer holiday, back pretty early on next season and that is meant to be a punishment? a farce.
