Just a quick update. The teams that are through to the semis are now near enough confirmed to be London Welsh and Bristol from pool A and Bedford and Cornish Pirates from pool B. This would now only leave one team with the chance of getting promoted, which is of course bristol but they are stumbling with a couple of draws and now London Welsh top pool A. In Pool B Bedford beat Leeds and Cornish Pirates beat Rotherham.

RFU or PRL????
Both. The RFU can help a lot in advertising the championship and growing the sport at all levels.

The PRL need to scrap there stupid conditions for promotion.
I agree Kingol its been 3 or 4 years now since the birth of the champioship and it still has no sponsor, rumour has it that in the first year a sponsor came forward but the RFU turned them down due to them being a brewing company they conflicted with guiness at the time. It is good that we are seeing more championship matches on TV but it is very few due to the fact that Sky have got the broadcasting rights but choose to do very little with them, I would love to see the championship rugby on a channel like ITV 4 so it is getting more coverage than it is already getting but hey ho we all know that won't happen.
