Re: Team vs Saints
From Cocker's comments in today's Mercury I reckon you are about spot-on. Hope so anyway.

Re: Team vs Saints
Two very good sides. Reckon the battle of the back rows will be cruical.
Really not much to choose between the 2 packs, but I think we may have a slight edge in the backs.
Come on Tigers!!

I concur. Thought he had a good game against Bath.Lewington must be miffed.
So much for letting the guys who got us there have their moment of glory.
Ford in the starting XV, and Green and Forsyth on the bench. I suspect the board has told Cockers to take the chance to win some Silverware while its on offer.

Re: Team vs Saints
Considering he limped off before the end of the game last week to be replaced by Staunton (a sub made only in an emergency) I would imagine he's not fit to play. He looked classy against Bath but the injury (looked like his quad) seemed to be causing him quite a bit of discomfort.Lewington must be miffed

Re: Team vs Saints
Lewington is playing for Notts on Sunday, presumably because both Jack Cobden and Andrew Savage are injured.

Re: Team vs Saints
Its a good team but i must admit I am a little disappointed. The players that got us into this position should be the ones given the chance to win us the title.
Re: Team vs Saints
There's a fair few in the squad.
Don't you want to win it?

Re: Team vs Saints
There is never any sentimentality in sport. If your going for a title/silverware, you should go with your best option. The youngsters who got us here and who are not featured this weekend will have their day another time. It maybe harsh... but do we want to loose to the Saints... or do we want to win? I know what I want.
