Cipriani for tigers ?

Post by Jay C »

According to the torygraph, Cipriani is in talks with several clubs about a return to England next season.

linky

Sale appear favourites, but Tigers get a mention for having talks with him also....(presumably before Ford & Bowden had agreed deals ??)

Mis-understood genius, or complete :censored: ?

Joking aside has anyone seen the highlights of the Rebels v Blues trial match? Cips was excellent and ripped their defence up several times. Also produced a great try saving tackle!

So, Lancaster's developing a zero tolerance for poor discipline on and off the pitch and Cipriani thinks he's got a chance of being picked?

I fancy the snowball in hells chances better.
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

If he can hack the inevitable beatings up he would undoubtedly get at Oval Park--then it probably would be the making of him.

But we have Ford and unless it is a swop for Flood-dont think its on
He is a game breaker, more so than virtually anyone else.

You need players who are as perceptive as he is to take advantage of his vision
But he is a cocky little s--t- !!

I'd still quite like to see how he'd get on at Tigers. I know it would be bad news for Ford's prospects, but part of me would enjoy seeing if he'd click in our team.

I quite liked the last cocky little sh*t with talent we had playing (occasionally) at 10...

I highly doubt he'll come to Tigers as we have signed Bowden, but I'd have liked to have seen him playing for Tigers. He is such a talented player and people ruling him out because they don't like what he has done off the field. Lote Tuqiri was no angel but he soon became a favourite here so why not Cipriani.

Lote might of had issues, but throughout he still played at a consistant level, Cips is IMHO a Clown.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Even if it was something that interested Tigers it would be very unlikely to happen as some club in the world would still be willing to pay him top money.

Personally i would love to see him at Tigers.
