Is it a coincidence?

Post by fleabane »

I am not usually a conspiracy theorist, but how much of a coincidence is it that the forum is "unavailable" all too frequently now?

The Management are very worried about what is going on here--on the forum--and it is blindingly obvious some posts are anulled...
Lets see if this one gets on ?

Oh god don't flatter yourself. If the professionals in charge of this club took what this forum said to heart, there'd be no playing, coaching, catering, shop, executive and admin staff left.

The sensationalism on here is unbelievable and has seen most of the most respected and reasonable posters leave for pastures new.

I doubt if the manangement are unduly worried about a lot of the justified disappointment at the team's performance. Results are results, and paying supporters like to have a moan the World over.

But criticism of the current outsourcing mania, which is helping transform a family, friendly club into a cash cow is probably not what they expected.

I don't know why they are surprised by this.

Where have you seen or heard they "are surprised by this"?
I did not know anyone from the Board even read this forum.
There has been precious little evidence of them ever acting on anything they have read on here.
I can't think of one example.

If that is true, which I doubt, then they are wasting a great opportunity. I have read (on this Forum) what I consider to be a lot of good sense written about the state of the Club (Playing wise) since last Friday's "embarrassment" away to Ulster, and hope someone take's notice. As fans we may not be experts, but I think we know a shambles when it stares us in the face.

As for conspiracy, don't think so at all.
I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

If anyone from the Board did/does read, I'd imagine they would be unlikely to broadcast or discuss it, or post on here to say they read. The club has various representatives (apart from the moderators) who do check the forum.

As for posting to see if your post gets removed, well it won't unless it breaks the rules :smt005

And just because it isn't trumpeted all over the website and forum does not mean that questions aren't being asked and complaints lodged about the recent outages....

I certainly hope the board do read these forums and take the following advice:

* Fire Cockers
* Retain Cockers
* Fire MOC
* Retain MOC
* Play Billy
* Fire Billy
* Play Flood
* Fire Flood
* Play Youngs
* Fire Youngs
* Give up
* Have hope

My post was to ask how Kinoulton knew the Board "are surprised by this"

A sincere question, not having a go at anyones post or opinion.
