FORUM FAULT!

All,

The database server used for this forum developed a fault on Friday. A new server is being commissioned and we will move the forum over as soon as possible (probably Monday). In the mean time we have carried out a repair and all should be running Ok however we cannot guarantee a few posts will be corrupted.

The alternative is to shut the forum down however we thought fans would prefer to converse even if one or two messages may be lost. (even this one).

The Tigers Forum has now been moved to a sparkley new database server. Hopefully all should now be better.

Yet again tonight the forum was unavailable after the Ulster match just when I thought it was fixed for good

I have been unable to log on to the Forum since last weekend. Received the message that my username/password were incorrect, yet they were the ones I always used.

Have emailed the administrator twice but with no reply.

Have today re-registered, as it seemed the only way to get on here. Used the same password and username, just changed my email address.

Is the state of this forum server indicative of the general malaise in Tigers?

Pam - some people have lost their accounts/usernames and all previous posts due to the server crash last weekend, several people have had to re-register. It would seem you can use the same email address as any previous account has vanished along with a number of threads.

Can only apologise, there are also obviously sql server issues going on again, not sure why but it has been reported.

There are some issues with the servers and they are working on it to fix them.

Still problems with this forum. I have just tired to submit a post - I got halfway through what I wanted to say and it would not let me add any other text. I had to compose in word then copy and paste for it take and then I submitted. As it was a highly critical piece can I assume that Tigers have some clever piece of software that picks up negative posts and makes them difficult to submit?:smt001
