Is there some stuff missing from yesterday's game?

Re: Yesterday's game
Some posts/threads may have been merged (not by me) - and there has obviously been some work being done on the website etc over the weekend as the forum unavailable message was up several times. As far as I know nothing has been deleted or removed on purpose.
Will see what I can find out.

Yes, I am in discussion with Tigerbeat and it has been reported to the club IT dept.

If they're anything like our IT department we're lucky only to have lost the odd bits and pieces. Last year my department lost ten years of extension work for talented students plus two weeks of development work.

Re: Disappearing posts/threads and registration problems.
We are aware of many problems, disappearing threads and posts, and people having to re-register.
Please bear with us, and there is no need to send lots of PMs - we are trying to find out what happened and get things sorted out. Tigerbeat and I have both emailed the IT people and also Sotic to make them aware. We will try and keep you updated.

Re: Disappearing posts/threads and registration problems.
All,
The database server used for this forum developed a fault on Friday. A new server is being commissioned and we will move the forum over as soon as possible (probably Monday). In the mean time we have carried out a repair and all should be running Ok however we cannot guarantee a few posts will be corrupted.
The alternative is to shut the forum down however we thought fans would prefer to converse even if one or two messages may be lost. (even this one).
Regards
Leo
