I heard a rumour that Cockers was talking about a player damaging his hand doing some DIY .
Any truth in this ???

It was Anthony Allen.If you listen to the last couple of mins of this recording Cockers makes reference to it.

Allen doing DIY apparently. Carpet laying? Deep cut that will take time to heal.

Should have got a carpet fitter in.

I bet the club would have paid rather then have him out for a long while!
