Oh no it's a shame to lose Manu but if Horacio is playing centre is also suggests both Allen and 12trees are injured too or else surely Smith would play outside centre ahead of him. Hopefully some of these players will be back before the Heiny.

I would rather see Staunton at 12 than Flood and the two have worked in combo before but hopefully one of our 4 centres will be fit to play 12. It's interesting idea about Manu wearing a face mask I suppose it depends how desperate Cockers is to play him, I would suggest it is better to let it recover a bit, we don't want him making it worse.

Maybe it will be possible for the HC games if it has not fully healed by then. I remember Immanol Harinordiquy (Is that how it is spelt?) wearing something like that for Biarritz last season.

It looks like it will be touch and go for the clermont games for Tuilagi then, hopefully he can be back for those. Allen will be a huge blow, but I guess the only plus side is that Twelvetrees could get an extended run in the side when he is fit.
