From the Merc article it sounds like 12Ts isn't far away, but won't be ready this week. Hopefully he gets fit soon as 12Ts and Smith is a pretty good pairing.
Wishing Manu and Allen a speedy recovery!

six weeks for a broken cheek bone?? surely it takes alot longer to heal and be back playing than that. You could see he was in pain from the moment it happened. His drive to keep playing was impressive, and the clash was enough to see the end of the game for Lawson.

as well as harinordoquy, ben cohen wore a phantom of the opera style mask while still at saints. i very well remember him picking up tony windo and carrying him backwards in the tackle while wearing it so it can done if necessary.man in the suite wrote:i do not remember .? anybody in rugby with a face mask . am i wrong]
if push comes to shove, maybe manu will (be allowed to) do the same in a few weeks?
if you are happy and you know it, you are unusual.

"Broken cheek bone" can mean anything from a hairline crack to something that requires surgery with plates inserted etc. The fact that surgery has not been mentioned is encouraging.
6 weeks is not an unreasonable prediction for an undisplaced fracture.
