RWC injuries

Post by Old Hob »

I know there is a thread mentioning Smurf's injury but I thought there may need to be a more generically titled one for the duration as Sheridan is now injured and will take no further part in the RWC and I doubt he will be the last.

Would like to see Doran Jones called up as cover personally. Able scrummager, although not the best, but is mobile for a prop and certainly more mobile than Payne, although most are.

Time to crank up the choke-o-meter? Dan Carter withdrawn from NZ team for Friday due to a bad back. Assume it is just a precaution, but I am sure that the Kiwi supporters will sleep a little less soundly tonight. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyu ... -caps.html

Horrible for Sheridan such a short time after coming back. The only consolation from England's perspective, is that having had Sheridan miss the 6N, Corbisiero has had some decent game time, and Stevens is back towards his best.
