Actually, I saw an interview with Cole who said that Smith was the fastest player in the squad last season (whether that says much?). He came on a lot last year and showed a good step and change of pace on a number of occasions. Scoring a fair few tries. On top of that, he is a strong defender and a good passer. Developing a knack for ripping the ball too.

He may never play for England, but he really went up in my estimation last year, from questionable pick, to valuable squad player.

That side is not bad, all things considered, I have a feeling we could snatch win with added impetus off the bench. Pleased to see ford continues at 10 but Morris will be a bit peeved. Hopefully Tait can make a big contribution.

Agree, valuable squad player, but whilst others wait weeks for their chance (if it ever comes) Cockers picks his "Matty" asap every time - I just cannot see why there is this mad dash to get him in come what may.

I see Saints got beaten away at Quins, and whilst I hope Tigers can turn Wasps over I fear the depleted sides are going to suffer during the RWC. Any points Tigers get will be a bonus.

Cockers obviously see's things in Smith that other people do not, he will always pick him no matter how he plays, such is his obsession. I saw enough of Morris last week to know who i would rather have in the team, but while Cockers is in charge Smith is a fixture come hell or high water. :smt017

I can see the point of putting Smith on for half or 50 and then bringing Morris on when both are available. Smith is solid and has moments of inspiration, Morris is a very dangerous runner best used when sides are tiring at this time of his season.
Morris looked quite usefull all game last week to me, unlike Dr. Who :smt002

I admire the faith of those predicting a Tigers win.

I looke forward to being proved wrong:

Wasps 16 Tigers 12
Still keeping the faith!

Hard to imagine Tigers winning this one, based on results last weekend.

Wasps to win by 10+ points.
