WASPS by 10 if they play like they did on Saturday! :smt009
We should have chased after Dai Young instead of Cockerill after Meyer :smt011

Hear, hear. It smacks of bullying, usually by someone who has just finished boasting about how he's flying off to a game and a hotel on another "I'm very rich" smugfest.

It's OK jgriffin, I have a thick skin. I think we know who Old Hob is referring to even if they are not willing to name names. I did explain my reasons for not liking the weekly posts by tigermad but those comments have vanished from the forum. As I mentioned previously, I find the posts to be predictable, formulaic and presented as if they are being delivered to a classroom of 6-year-olds. A bit of variety is all that needed: after all, it is meant to be the spice of life.

As for the wonderfully entitled 'I'm very rich smugfest', I nearly spilt my coffee when I first read it. FYI Old Hob, my wife and I have worked hard over the years and now we can enjoy the fruits of our labours. One of our indulgences is travelling to away matches, either in the Heineken Cup or pre-season. If wanting to support the Tigers abroad is being smug, then colour me accordingly.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

May I - politely and respectfully - observe that should any forum user choose to make a post simply to be rude, offensive, call names or abuse another forum user, they may well find their post removed without further reference.

In response to a comment elsewhere on the forum, the moderators do not *have* to advise or explain on open forum or via PM why a post is removed, edited or merged, generally we do this, but it isn't mandatory that we do so.

Please could we now reserve comment and discussion to the thread topic and refrain from personal attacks.

Absolutely - Cockerill has achieved NOTHING since he took over at Tigers, whereas at Cardiff - with a TINY playing budget of just £6m - Young managed to win the second most presigious trophy in European rugby, the Amlin Challenge Cup.

BJ, my comment was also removed and all I said was that I was losing the will to live. Nothing personal there, purely how I felt.

But hey, this will probably also be removed even before it is read!

I know where you're coming from, my friend. However, it would appear we might be in a minority.

Happy to be in the minority.

Frankly the only offensive and personal comment here is the one below. Veilled by not addressing the reciprient directly, but giving the game away by stating that 'he's flying off'.
