around 5000 tickets sold, the covered stand nearly sold out; as far as I know the coaches have been organised at this end, maybe there is a communication breakdown between Aironi and Tigers?GT1 wrote:Thanks for that Tanu how are the tickets going?
Only 3 weekends to go until we join you in Monza, no word on Parma coaches yet!

Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
Many thanks for the guide, Tanu.
Would you have any recommendations for parking at Stadio Brianteo? We will most likely be driving to the match and I wondered if it was OK to use the car park behind the Curva Nord as it seems the rugby village will take over the space behind the Curva Sud.

Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.
Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
BJ, over the weekend we will add the various parking areas near the stadium.
There are several possibilities: The Stadium car park which will cost something (I think it's 3 euros); there are free car parks nearby in various directions: the car par park of the sporting center near the stadium should be free; opposite the stadium there is also a business center which is normally open and has few parkins spots. There is also a hypermarket with plenty of parking, so parking shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks, mate. I'm sure we'll find somewhere.

Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
Let's hope for a late surge in ticket sales or the ground will be 1/3 full & there's nothing worse than that for atmosphere at a match.
Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
GT1, the current capacity of the stadium is 10.000 anyway; the 18.000 is old and has been reduced because the curve (behind the posts) have been trasnformed in all seated; in the distinti area (opposite the main stand) the part above (4000 places) is not usable; the covered area has been reduced to 900 seats as there are two new structures that are commonly used as discoteques ( ). So, the recap:GT1 wrote:Let's hope for a late surge in ticket sales or the ground will be 1/3 full & there's nothing worse than that for atmosphere at a match.
Main covered stand: 6100 places, nearly sold out
Curve: 3000 places to go on sale as soon as main covered stand will be sold out
Distinti: 900 places
Ciao from Monza
Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
Thanks Tanu keep the info coming, It won't be long now!!
Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
Less then 500 tickets left in the covered stand at 15 Euros.
Otherwise, there are tickets available in the Distinti (Covered) where at 40 Euros you get access to the disco/lounge bar; price includes 3 drinks from the bar. As soon as the covered stand tickets will be sold out, the curve (not covered) will go for sale.

Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
Tanu, perhaps you could give advice re tickets.
I am ordering tickets via the Aironi site. The 15 Euro tickets available are Tribune Settore Blu, Giallo, Rosso or Verde but I'm not sure which part of the stadium these refer to. Do you know which would be the best area.
Thanks for all your help

Tweentown, if you look here or follow the link in Tanu's post at the bottom of the previous page, it shows you the colour coding for the Tribune Settore (Blu Giallo Rosso Verde)

Re: MONZA - Now confirmed.
hi lads, I would suggest red (rosso) or green (verde).
Would also recommend the "Aironi Lounge" in the distinti where you pay 40 euros but get: covered and numbered seats, 3 drinks from the Campari bar, DJ set before and after game.

Hi Paul,
you can find the guide here: http://www.rugbymonza.com/portale/index ... Itemid=248
At the moment is a bit overcast, with 10°.
We've just had a long bank holiday weekend with temperatures rising as high as 20° and sunshine although the forecast for the next few days doesn't look as good.
Lookign forward to meeting you in Monza!
