Season Ticket Question

Post by Tigersfan90 »

Hi, I've left it really late to renew my ticket this year, am I right in thinking Season Ticket holders DO NOT get at a cheaper price if renewed by the end of today?
So basically having been a season ticket holder for 6 seasons it’s the same price as if a new season ticket holder comes along? (we can't commit to a long term ticket you see) Thanks!

For a definitive answer, why not call the ticket office?

Or click on the June1 Season ticket renewal icon at the top of this page and read the FAQs

No mention in the FAQ's...have called the ticket office and they're not aware of there ever being a different price before the renewal deadline. :smt017 Obviously there is only one price now for everyone!

I have to say that I was delighted that the price of my season ticket in the Cat stand lower tier had gone down by 18% from £440 to a very reasonable £360. Renewed immediately!

I also go occasionally to watch Arsenal (went to 18 games last season) and they INCREASED their ticket prices by 6%! Most expensive ST is a whopping £3600 just for the seat! And there is a waiting list!

As far as I am aware, there is no discount (or lower price) for ST holders if they renew before the end of today. However, I am not 100% sure which is why I suggested contacting the people who should know, i.e. the ticket office.

By renewing before the end of today, seated ST holders are guaranteed their previous seats if they wish to keep them.

As far as I understand, 1 June 2011 is when all unsold seats become available to the great unwashed masses. and as such, the ticket office cant be 100% sure of your previous seat being available as it is no longer held for us privelidged few.

However. unless you sit in a very popular area, I would imagine that if you call, and request that particular seat, they will
a) advise if it is still available
b)sell it to you

I thought it was cheaper to renew before June 1 than afterwards

Great to see that over 10,000 ST have already been renewed, especially as the season has only just finished!!

Daughter and I renewed some weeks ago. Yep once more on the Crumbie terrace, still can't bring myself to join the toffs who sit down Billw.

Thought I would mention when we filled in the application form I removed all reference to the Horrid & Barnett Terrace and substituted Crumbie Terrace. Seems our application has been accepted.

Good news for the club in terms of ticket take up for next season. However, I do hope that the Club doesn't get complacent and falls into the trap of taking supporters for granted. Difficult times are here for a few more years at least and people can spend their money in other ways.
