Given that no other club has announced his arrival I suspect he will join us. Tigers are the only club who have not officially announced new signings so I would expect him to be here next season.

Right then:

Message to the Club.

When are you going to announce the new players for next season?

it is not only about weight in the 2nd row it is about DRIVE

I have had many a lurge lump behind me in the second row and felt sweet FA and another guy can be like a ram rod up yer Jacksy.

I understand the Deacs is the latter ... the biggest hardest ramrod there is apparently and that is what our scrum has missed for too much of this season - the props can not be expected to do it all alone whilst run round all over the park pretending to be number 8s!

Is Matthew Tait confirmed for next season? No mention of him in the Crane interview.

I wouldn't read anything into that as Jordan was talking only about his fellow Saxons players. Obviously Tait is not in the squad but recovering from injury in Leicester and our other rumoured signing, Niall Morris, is Irish and therefore not mentioned in that context.

No real help here either, other than Kitch has left Wuss.

Yes, the silence is deafening.

What has happened to the club's PR machine since Sam R-S left?

Very unimpressed.

The lack of an announcement has nothing to do with the PR side of the club. Anyone who has read this forum for any length of time will know that the club makes no announcements until the ink is dry on the contract. And yes, I am suggesting that they will not all have been signed yet! This does not mean that terms have not been agreed, (Micky Young made his own announcement about joining Tigers, and Tait has been seen around).

Until all the comings, goings and availability are agreed, the salary cap calculations cannot be made. It would be the worst possible publicity to make announcements, only to have to go back on them. All are usually made at the same time.

We may not like it, but it does make sense.

Like it or not (and I do not), over the last few years and probably longer - I'm sure Bill W et al can go back further to confirm/deny - Tigers have always left official announcements about new signings well into the close season. Maybe they treat the Merc's announcements as keeping the fans up to date, and I have not known the Merc to get it wrong. Has anyone else?

Come on guys get off the club's back. They cannot announce new signings until they can parade them in the new kit. Also Kitchener and Brookes kit will require a lot of material to be found and purchased.
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.
