Terrace rammed again

Post by tb1 »

Anybody else find this on Saturday? Borderline uncomfortable for me.

Do the Sky cameras make a noticeable difference? The platforms are quite large, but maybe not in the context of how big the terrace is in total.

Is the terrace being oversold?

Seemed to me that the terrace was crammed but what do I know I was sitting on my Crumbie plank.

The terrace always used to be like that when we were a sell out at 17,000 but hasnt been for a couple of seaons now with the CAT stand.

i guess the 'Shed' fans from Glos will have preferred to stand rather than sit thus bumping up the numbers on the terrace, there did seem to be a lot of them there early enough too.

I've noticed that the platforms are appearing to be much bigger than in recent seasons, expanding further along each way from the tunnel. I usually stand at the back of the terrace near there so have noticed it more & more. Wasn't there on Saturday unfortunately so cannot xcompare directly to other games.

The 3D cameras are new this year and do take up a lot of room around teh tunnel.

Can't say I noticed it being that much more crammed, although there were a number of children (yet again) shoved to the front ten minutes before kick off by fathers who stood several rows back and ignored their offspring throughout each half. One young lad actually asked me to look and see if I could see his Dad - because he said he didn't know where his Dad was standing.
