It was England 24 Ireland 19 at Donnybrook on Friday night in the Stuart Mangan Memorial match. Many thanks to Frankie from Frontrow in Ireland for the information.
So it was 3-1 to the English over the weekend. Three out of four ain't bad.

I couldn't find any info about the game in our press. The Irish Times said England had won but that was all. I ended up emailing Frankie Sheahan, the former Munster and Ireland hooker, at his company Front Row.

Some took it more seriously than others e.g Josh Lewsey...though it was a great night the game was played in a great atmosphere...highlight for me was Alain Rolland drop kicking a conversion for England as he was too long waiting on someone from England to take it and then he played scrum half for about two minutes for Ireland while still the ref and Martin Corry did his level best to get his hands on him but just failed.Fun evening raising money for charity and good craic with the MC giving a funny commentary of sorts

We were at last year's match at the Stoop and I think it's safe to say a good time was had by all. Unfortunately we couldn't get across for Friday's match due to work commitments.Leoslovechild wrote:Some took it more seriously than others e.g Josh Lewsey...though it was a great night the game was played in a great atmosphere...highlight for me was Alain Rolland drop kicking a conversion for England as he was too long waiting on someone from England to take it and then he played scrum half for about two minutes for Ireland while still the ref and Martin Corry did his level best to get his hands on him but just failed.Fun evening raising money for charity and good craic with the MC giving a funny commentary of sorts
