Re: A Tiger signs for Sarries
well i can't believe that this story is true, i mean, a south african signing for sarries, it just doesn't seem plausable.
The sooner we get done, the more we can do !

Won't be long before you will need krugerrand to pay for a ticket and a diet of biltong?
Whoever said "one person cannot change the world' never ate undercooked bat
Re: A Tiger signs for Sarries
Does this mean that Sarries have enough left in their wages to pay for him? If he's special dispensation, it doesn't say. Or is he just training with them for now?

Re: A Tiger signs for Sarries
He has been playing club rugby in Cape Town [for the university of cape town] , played provincial and super rugby very briefly and unfortunately was not an immediate success so has been frozen out of the provincial setup.Wages are currently probably less than 2k per month, so I imagine he would play for little more than board and lodging. He is an exciting player who will be missed by his club.

Ahhh! So that's how they manage to stay within the salary cap!TigerCam wrote:Won't be long before you will need krugerrand to pay for a ticket and a diet of biltong?
Obviously the Saffas in the squad are paid in Krugerrand and hence don't count towards the Stirling Salary Cap!

I wonder how close to the truth you really are, Tigerbob. We will never know, of course.Tigerbob wrote:Obviously the Saffas in the squad are paid in Krugerrand
