I assume it'll be the usual time, i.e. around Friday lunchtime.Roly wrote:When is the team officially announced?
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

I'm supprised to see that there are still tickets on sale for the Wasps game,I thought it would be as popular as the Saints game if not more!!

Two simple reasons:kpbates wrote:I'm supprised to see that there are still tickets on sale for the Wasps game,I thought it would be as popular as the Saints game if not more!!
1. It's a 17.30 kick-off
2. It's on TV
Contrary to what the media want us to believe, the home matches against Northampton and Bath are more popular than those against the Wycombe Pests.

Re: Tigers Vs Wasps
London Wasps Head Coach Shaun Edwards has today named his side to face Leicester at Welford Road in the Aviva Premiership on Saturday.
Edwards has made five changes from the starting line up that lost to Gloucester in last weekend’s fixture. The changes see Mark Van Gisbergen and Nic Berry return in the back line and Tom Lindsay, Marty Veale and Joe Launchbury all start in the pack. Richard Birkett is named as captain.
Van Gisbergen returns to fullback, with Ben Jacobs fitting in on the wing in the absence of Tom Varndell and Nic Berry comes into the team at scrum-half.
Tom Lindsay starts at hooker pushing Joe Ward to the bench, while James Cannon makes way for Marty Veale in the second row. Joe Worsley starts at number 8 and youngster Joe Launchbury, who recently starred for England U20s, is on the flank.
London Wasps have a record of two wins in the last three games at Welford Road, and in the last fixture between the sides, Wasps won 37-30 when Leicester visited Adams Park at the beginning of the season in a thrilling game.

Leicester Tigers welcome back internationals Martin Castrogiovanni and Tom Croft for Saturday’s Aviva Premiership Round 15 fixture against London Wasps at Welford Road (5.30pm).
Castrogiovanni takes the No3 shirt and is joined in the front row by Boris Stankovich in the only changes to the line-up which started last Sunday’s Premiership victory at Leeds Carnegie.
England flanker Croft is named among the replacements on his return from injury.
Director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: “We’ve got four tough games to play during this Six Nations period and, although we made a good start to that run with a win at Leeds last week, we want to keep it going.
“We’ve had some cracking games against Wasps in recent years and it should be a good contest.
“Julian White has had a bit of an injury but having Castro back softens the blow and I thought Pete Bucknall did an outstanding job for us at Leeds last weekend.”
Jordan Crane (knee), Ed Slater (foot), Matt Smith (hamstring) and Julian White (ankle) are ruled out by injury this week. Geordan Murphy, Ben Pienaar and Geoff Parling are also sidelined.
More than 20,000 tickets have been sold for Saturday’s game but tickets remain available. Phone the Tigers ticket hotline on 0844 856 1880, call in at Welford Road (open until 5pm Friday and from 9am Saturday) or book online and collect on matchday.

Re: Tigers Vs Wasps
The Wasps line up maybe handy but the Tigers line up is unbelievable considering the 6 Nations and injuries. And we've got Croft, Ayerza, Hipkiss, BIlly et al on the bench.
This is our game...

Re: Tigers Vs Wasps
Wasn't really watching rugby club, but they all seemed to say it was our game which was worrying. Did make me think though that when you look at the other teams they don't really have any depth, stains esp.
cheers

Re: Tigers Vs Wasps
Having just put my back out, I won't be happy if it's not recovered enough by tomorrow to enable me to stand as usual. Should be a good game.

Good team we're putting out really considering the injuries and internationals that are out. Is the game on sky this weekend?
