I may go down if it is not to cold and there is a decent team out but that is only because it is part of the season ticket but to be honest i think the england v wales game will be better than watching tigers get battered at home.

I agree if tigers get more than 5000 I'd be surprised!
Eng v Wales more attractive

I will be there. I need my Tigers fix. :smt028 :smt028
I cant wait until 19th for next home game. I also expect all the moaning minnies to be there as they are always asking for the youngsters to be included in the first team at the expense of experienced players like Staunton and Grindal. :smt003
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

Maybe by watching the 3rd team they can reduce the beer to a third of its price and my train ticket can be a third of the price too.

Please make my season ticket cheaper next season by dropping the LV games.

Wiggo normally I am not one who bothers correcting others posts but please try reading my post properly. In response to other people who were saying they may not be going i said I will be there(for the Bath game) because I do not want to wait until 19th for a home game. Hope this is to your satisfaction.

Well for the first time ever we won't ..........would not ask that we be excluded........just ask that Tigers see it as a proper competition...................We love to go to Academy games albeit against other Academy teams...........but the LV is just a farce...........not the cup itself just the arrogant way that Tigers powers to be view it...

I thought that the LV Cup had been discussed before. My understanding is that we are far more interested in the Heineken Cup and the Premiership. When you take into accounts these comps, the number of players away on international duty etc. and the squad size (see salary cap discussion) then we cannot afford to commit players to this comp.

I know there'll be at least three empty seats on Friday.

I don't see why this isn't possible with the new season tickets. Why not offer them as just a basic league package with the option to add on European and LV matches?
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

I suspect because few season ticket holders would elect for the LV package, therefore the revenue would drop per season ticket holder. The only way this might work is if the "core" ST package was much more expensive and the LV package add-on appeared to be particularly good value.
