Runners up are always 7th and 8th

Toulouse -- Ulster
Northampton -- Leicester
Leinster -- Toulon
Perpignan -- Biarritz

An all-English QF would be disappointing, but it's probably the most winnable away game.
I agree with the above - If perp beat Scarlets then Wasps have nothing to play for as they are through to the Amlin QFs anyway, so I would expect a Toulouse win. However Toulouse have to win AND score 2 tries other wise Saints are seeded 1 on tries scored. Still quite likely IMO but a dogged forward affair might not produce a high scoring game. If all that happens we would travel to toulouse and whilst the game might not be as winnable the venue is much better and what the H cup is all about

The conspiracy theorists at Sky were suggesting that Toulouse's performance would depend on which QF opponents they fancied given all would be clearer by the time they kick off.

Nevertheless I still reckon Wasps will beat them.

As far as I can work out...

If Toulouse win with 2 or more tries. Its Saints away.

If they win with only 1 try, its Toulouse away.

If they lose, its Leinster away.

If Toulouse draw, with less than 4 tries, its Leinster away.

If Toulouse draw, with 4 tries or more, its Toulouse away.

Saints away seems the most likely, and the most favourable I think, especially if its at Milton Keynes!

Leicester did what they had to do and will be looking back at that draw against Perpignan last December and thinking - if only. What is done is done and it looks like a tasty quarter-final encounter against our East Midlands neigbours the likely outcome.

16 all now in Wasps - Toulouse, much closer than I imagined. Wasps are a man down, so the teams have 14 each. Anyone know what the red card was for?

For an alleged spear tackle on Varndell. Looked harsh to me; certainly a lift but no intent to put head or shoulders into the ground, rather thrown onto his back. Silly and reckless tackle without a doubt.

We play Leinster away. Toulouse would have 23 points and would be 3rd seed. Top two stay as Northampton and Leinster.
