I think Munster being out might qualify as a surprise.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Concur. But not there being two Irish sides. I would have expected them to be Leinster and Munster.

That's what I meant Bill.

Four french two Irish and two english would not be a surprise to most people - although I agree Ulster rather than Munster would not have been predicted by many....

And that the two English sides would appear to be Saints and Tigers is positively :smt015 :smt015 :smt015

Can anyone honestly see the Llanelli pack coping with Perpignan? I can't based on their performances against us and our struggle out there.

what are your thoughts on who is going to win and points for
a) Castres v Northampton
b) Wasps v Toulouse

both games will affect seedings an therefore affect we and whom we are playing

Stu - From the games we have played against the two sides, I would certainly say there is a gulf in class between the two. Yes the scarlets can create the odd try from broken play, but over 160 mins we were far better than them. On the other hand the Perps were at least our equal for large parts of both games...

Playing at home, I fear a five pointer for the french will ensue ... :smt009

(although I didn't see the first game between these two)

Redcap - two away wins I think...

So based on Saints and Toulouse both winning away from home with 4 points and both us and Perpignan achieving 5 point wins the likely out come for us is an away tie with Saints.

Toulouse will get 5 points.

Perpignan will only get 4.

IMHO

After some random maths I've got the table below after round 6, so away to Toulouse. However both Saints and Leinster might win away, if that happened we would be away to Leinster. If only one of these won away, then it is away to Perpignan. Depends whether the French make an effort because it is at home. Cannot see Toulouse winning at Wasps, they will have the galloise's out already.

Team Pts Grp Trys Round 6 Prediction
Perpign 22 5 18 Bonus at home
Toulouse 22 6 14 Losing bonus at Wasps
Saints 22 1 13 Losing bonus to Castres
Ulster 22 4 9 Bonus at Aironi
Leinster 20 2 Losing bonus to Racing Metro
Toulon 17 3 Lose away to Ospreys

Leicester 22 5 16 Bonus at home
Biarritz 21 4 Win at home to Bath, no bonus
Wasps 19 6 Win at home vs Toulouse
Munster 16 3 Bonus at home vs Irish
Clermont 15 2 Losing bonus to Saracens
Castre 15 1 Win at home vs Saints

No idea how the qualification for the Bic Biro or whatever it is called nowadays works, but we won't be in that anyway.

Greeting from Dublin

my calculations has leinster winning in Racing (I will be there :smt026 ). I beleive that is very possible and thus i see us finishing either 2nd or 3rd. With my guess 2nd.

I believe that you guys will be runners up and 7th. Thus again we shall meet in Dublin. You broke our hearts (or probably better to say we broke our own bloodly hearts) last time in Dublin but much water is under the bridge since then.

The general concenus here is that we can beat anyone on our patch, but we have sufficient respect for ye guys that most would prefer to avoid the tigers and get Toulon (possible if we get 3rd ranking).

But first we must beat Racing! :smt023

I see Scarlets really pushing for a win and therefore Perpignan only getting 2-3 tries and therefore 4 points. The rest of the results I agree with so the final roundup looking a little different.

Leicester22 5 20 Bonus at home
Toulouse 22 6 14 Losing bonus at Wasps
Saints 22 1 13 Losing bonus to Castres
Ulster 22 4 9 Bonus at Aironi
Leinster 20 2 Losing bonus to Racing Metro
Toulon 17 3 Lose away to Ospreys

Perpign 21 5 16 4pt Win

Munster 16 3 Bonus at home vs Irish
Clermont 15 2 Losing bonus to Saracens
