Technically speaking

Stripes are vertical
Hoops are horizontal

As seen when the player is standing of course

So a Tiger with two legs is hooped and one with four is striped

Hoops run round the belly, Stripes run from head to foot.

Tigers are hooped? and so are Zebra!

I rather fancy broad green, red and white hoops, with a nicely embroidered "Leicester F.C." badge, and ... well, nothing else, really.

I guess we will have to put up with "CATERPILLAR" and "Aviva" also emblazoned. But I am with you!

Home shirt = broad green and red, narrow white;
Away shirt = narrow green and red, broad white.

Broad hoops/stripes tend to make people look large. I noticed this after watching the Barbarians game last week, because they made the players look bigger than they were, it may have helped them look more intimidating. Imagine a larger Castro coming at you.

I'd love to see an alternate shirt in the mould of Perpignan's HEC shirt in green, white and red.
