6 minutes to go. Cueto breaks through again. Had a stormer too. England scrum in the Aussie 22. Could be game over.

Ben Youngs named MOTM.

Care quick tap. England 5m short. The clock is ticking on Australia. Can England finish it? Penalty England. Take the 3. Takes England out of reach surely.

Flood surely seals the game with that kick. Twickenham is rocking!

35-18. 3 minutes to go.

Ben Youngs named MOTM.
For the first time in a long time several England players could have been named MotM.

Cueto
Youngs
Ashton
Laws
Palmer
Moody
Croft

Croft is finally bringing as much to the England team as he is to Leicester

Australia try to finish on a high, but England are not letting them have it. Great defence. 1 minute to go. England scrum on their own 10m line. Penalty. Clock ticks over.

GAME OVER! THIS IS ENGLAND! WOOOO! :smt003

What a result at HQ and a certain Ben Youngs MOTM. Time for a drink I think.

Ben was subbed off after long treatment about 60 minutes in however. Hope it isnt bad.

Englands tempo and play noticeably suffered with Care.

Could be a cricket score for New Zealand against Scotland. 4 tries in 28 minutes, and they lead 3-28.

Any news from the France v Fiji game? Agree that All Blacks will rack up some serious points against Scotland and lead 28-3 at the break.

Italy 16-22 Argentina.

Amorosino with a great chip and chase from his 22 to set up the Argentina try.

France lead Fiji 27-12 I think.

Elsewhere, Romania lead Uruguay 9-0 in the first leg of the final world cup spot decider.

The winner over 2 legs will go into Englands group.

Well the Scots got a thorough spanking. 49-3 in the end. Embarrassing.

France had a comfortable 34-12 victory over Fiji.

Also Uruguay came back from 11-21 down to draw 21-21 in the first leg of the final world cup qualifier. The decider for the final world cup place will be in 2 weeks time. The winner will go into group 2 with England.

Why were England wearing their change strip at HQ today?

In a feeble attempt to increase shirt sales.
Still keeping the faith!
