Exeter Chiefs have signed fly-half Ignacio Mieres from Argentine side Deportiva Francesca.
The 23-year-old Argentina international arrives after fellow fly-half Gareth Steenson limped out of Saturday's defeat by London Irish.
"His all-round game is pretty good," said Exeter head coach Rob Baxter.
"He brings a bit of experience in a position where we felt we were a bit thin. With Steeno taking a knock on Saturday, his timing is pretty good."
Wasn't he a Tigers trial cast-off?

Re: Ignacio Mieres
He was here when loffreda (think thats right) was here, he left when the coach did but if i remember we tried to keep him on but Stade came in for him on the backing of JMH and he went on to play very well for Stade but was let go in the cost cutting.
