November 5th Game - advance warning
Not only is this Guy Fawkes Night, but it is also Diwali Day. Hence there may be road closures in Leicester and there will certainly be a big influx of people in the Belgrave/Melton Road area.

Thanks for the heads-up on this one, Rizzo. It's just another reason why I'm giving this game a miss.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

Forget the 5th - it's all about the 9th!
Let's get another SH scalp - then we can crush the AB's next year - early world cup exit permitting

Have a look at the fixture list as it may answer your question.Stu_F wrote:Is this a M Mouse Cup match?

Its really kind of the Club to change this fixture to the Friday night - another kick in the teeth for Season ticket Holders who travel a long way .With 2 more friday evening home games sceduled in the next few months it seems that a 3.00 pm saturday start is no longer the preferred option . When the Season Ticket renewals crash next Season after the end of 3 year deals they just might get the message .

It may not be the Club's choice to move the game, mike. Sometimes outside influences/demands force their hand.

I'd be astounded if this game is being televised as usually it is only those featuring a Welsh region that make it to TV. After all, it's only them who are interested in this tinpot tournament.
Therefore, some imbeciles have decided to move the game from a Saturday afternoon to a Friday night that is both Bonfire Night and Diwali in a city with one of the largest Asian communities in the country.
Well thought out, you clowns!

Bumping this up for people who may not be aware.
The Diwali celebrations will, of course, be over in Belgrave but if you come in from that direction there will be road closures, and there's a big bonfire at Abbey Park if you come round that way. Check the link above or the one I've linked below.

Maybe it would have been more sensible to have changed it to an Away game and perhaps play Ospreys at Home at W.R..
