Hats off to Boris

Post by drc_007 »

These days it seems rare for a front-row forward to play 80 mins in a match, however due to injuries Boris Stankovich has played the full 80 mins in the last two matches and not taken a step backward. A great performance.

Shhhh - don't talk him up too much or we'll lose him also for the Autumn Internationals - apparently we are going to lose Castro

Is Boris England qualified?

I know he played youth (not A or 1st side international) for England via residency but then having moved to France does he not break that residency?

I've long been a fan of Boris , he's vastly underated.Maybe not the most mobile front row forward (like crowd favourite JW) but an awesome scrumager. A dying breed imo.
Johno could do (and has done) much worse than put him in an England shirt. He is England qualified. He told me age's ago he wouldn't be picked because he can't remember the national anthem! :smt005 . Nor can i, but then i wouldn't sing it even if i could!

Boris is underrated by whom ?
Virtually all the Tigers fans I know rate him very highly. In any pack but ours he would be a standout legend IMO. Our props are awesome, all of them, in their own way.

A fair point Butch, but as Tigers haven't issued any statements regarding Stanko's contract how can we know to celebrate it ?

So Stanko's contract has been extended? Excellent. One of my favourites - always has a big smile for the kids and a big mashing for the oppo tighthead.
