This weekends concerts

Post by divingrob »

Just had a look at the webcams of the stage. Is it me or does it look a little close to the CAT stand?
Not bothered as I'm not a great Will Young fan and I thought Jim Morrison diedin the bath in 1971

Maybe not sold so many tickets. Also the weather was clearly predicted.
Still, looks impressive.

In the video http://www.leicestertigers.com/mdtv/play/media/id/5410 Charles Rayner says something along the lines of 'everyone will be accommodated in the Cat Stand so we've not needed to use the pitch standing this time which reduces dependency on the weather and protects more of the pitch'

Which could also mean that as Goffer3404 observes they probably haven't sold as many tickets as they had hoped - Which is a pity :music:

But if you want to sell out an arena, you have to get an arena size attraction. James Morrison certainly ain't and WIll Young hasn't been for a year or two.

Kasabian would have filled the bill for example.

Will my season ticket still be valid? It's in the cat Stand.

If so, the first person to email me can have a near-front row ticket to see these Demi Gods of modern music.

I wonder if they will say these concerts are a success. It was a really poor choice to get will young and james morrison the fact that they are struggling to sell 10,000 tickets is dreadful. If they want to bring a lot of money in from these concerts then they will have to get some big name bands. For next summer i want Kasabian, Muse and Biffy clyro

It is a shame they couldn't afford an opera singer to play at Welford Road.

Thought from the headline it might have been about Will Young :smt002

(It's not - far more interesting!)

The stage certainly seems to be very close to the stand. Earplugs definitely required!
