The Merc is today reporting that Harry Ellis has retired due to injury.

Not really shocked but gutted for him.Maybe he could take on Brackens role of mentoring Ben Youngs.Thanks for the good times Harry.

Anyone else notice how he clarified the variance of message between him and Cockers about his fitness to play? What a gent!

Very sad news. I do think that with the intensity of the modern game, coupled with the number of games the top players are involved in, we will see more and more young men forced from the game before their time. If you look at the top players they never really get much of a break with club, europe, internationals and lion tours.

Such a shame, came up on the Sky Sports news ticker and I almost choked, hopefully we can keep him on at Leicester, such a great servant to the club.

Would be nice if he now was given a testimonial just to finish his career.
