Re: New Away Shirt
Having seen him run in the S14 games last year, I'd suggest if you were just about to tackle him, you'd probably think he's big enough!

Saw him at Rothley in the charity cricket game. He looked big to me then and I'm sure if he was coming towards me at speed he'd probably look even bigger!Hot_Charlie wrote:Having seen him run in the S14 games last year, I'd suggest if you were just about to tackle him, you'd probably think he's big enough!
Don't think I'd appreciated that Castro was of a similar size though.

Does anyone remember 'Spitting Images' and the puppet of John Major ("Nice peas, Norma..."). It occurs to me that the new kit is a similar shade of grey.

A similar shade to that worn by the "professional" classes and referred to, affectionately, as "Accountant Grey".JWM wrote:Does anyone remember 'Spitting Images' and the puppet of John Major ("Nice peas, Norma..."). It occurs to me that the new kit is a similar shade of grey.
Despite your best efforts though I'm still one of the few that like the new kit .................. I was never one for seeing the Tigers' turning out looking like Coventry City footballers.

I am just glad that as I am a Home fan and don't do away games (or very rarely) I wont have to see them play in that shirt. The more I see it the less I like it.
I know towels are too small to be togas

Whilst I would not wish to be drawn into a discussion on the topic, Gate, I suspect your aris is more attractive than the new shirt!!Gate wrote:It mings. "Platinum", my aris.
