Somebody posted a solution to upload fixture list to OE and then to Smart phone/Blackberry.
Anybody know how, who ......?
Thanks from deepest Essex.

Check out http://www.leicestertigers.com/download ... xtures.php
My calendar on my iPhone hasn't updated yet but I don't expect it to just yet.
Hope this helps.

Re: Outlook Express/fixture list
I've just looked at this and at the moment the download is for last seasons fixtures. I guess next seasons will be a few days yet. I've entered mine manually alreadyjonfez wrote:Check out http://www.leicestertigers.com/download ... xtures.php

Re: Outlook Express/fixture list
Although the next season's fixtures are there now, don't bother to download this season's yet - iCalendar applications (such as Microsoft Calendar, Outlook, Lightning (Thunderbird calendar add-in) will all do strange things with the fixtures until they've got kick-off times.
Mind you if you are 'really geeky' (as I'm accused of being) you can edit the file, to make sure the DTSTART: AND DTEND: entries all have a valid time like the pre-season ones do - eg, like the Tigers / Leinster one:
DTSTART:20100820T180000Z
DTEND:20100820T180000Z
rather than the Exeter game, which just shows:
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20100904
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20100904
and are quite likely to put all-day events in your calendars for both Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th!

For when the One Great Scorer comes to write against your name,
He marks - not that you won or lost - but how you played the Game."

Re: Outlook Express/fixture list
I'm glad that my only concern is whether or not I can get the fixture list onto my Blueberry, cPhone or PC!
Dead easy to write it up on the fridge calendar. Means the whole family see it!
There's an app you can now get that allows you to both look at your phone and see where you are going. Technology!
