Vuvuzelas at WR?

Post by fleabane »

With thousands being bought, not only in SA, but also in UK (I will never forgive Sainsbury's), there is every possibility they will make an appearance at WR next season, or at the 7s in July.

I dread it happening. A pre-emptive ban would be good!

It would take a lot to give up our Tigers Season tickets but I think allowing these ******* things into Welford Road would probably do it.

Probably will be given out free with the Watford club's season tickets.

Vicarage Road would be hell - that bally drum and vuvuzelas together. a dreadful cacophony.

If anyone near me brings one to WR then they will need to be able to blow it through their aris. Because that's where it's going.

I would recommend a preemptive ban at WR, don't let them get a foot in the door.It was a pleasure watching SA vs France at Newlands with 50,000 others who enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, the day after having to watch France vs Uruguay wearing earplugs at the Capetown stadium.

It's the ceaslessness of them which I find irritating. Even when there's a goal there's barely a perceptible difference in the noise level.

I would suggest that just in case they appear at WR - We all bring garden shears to the first game.

I am advised that a tennis ball stuffed up a Vuvuzela acts as an effective mute.

It has a similar effect if stuffed in the mouth of the prospective player.

What effect they have if stuffed up the Vuvuzela, the players mouth and his aris no doubt Kinny will advise.

Been assured by our SA friends they are already banned at rugby grounds in SA. Hopefully we will do the same at WR otherwise nobody will hear our creative chant and team songs!
Mind you if they are not banned I will need to watch somewhere else - hate them and another reason not to visit Saracens!
