Leicester Tigers Shirt

I have a signed Leicester tigers shirt but don't know the year, can anyone tell me how to find which year it is. the shirt is green background just one red and white hoop, also the players of that year. Anyone help would be appreciated.

In the players and coaches section (the rugby tab) you can view previous tigers squads. The players are kitted out so you will be able to tell which year your shirt is from that.

Hi Skin_and_muscle I thank you for your advice but having followed as you suggested I am still not sure which year the shirt is from. It is brand new never been worn signed on the front but cannot match the signatures with the players. It is long sleeved small red and green hoops 1/2 inch wide. I was thinking of selling it so need to know as much info as I can.

It IS a Tigers shirt, isn't it? Perhaps the sponsors' names might give us a clue?

Yes it is a genuine Leicester Tigers shirt sponsor on the front is BRADSTONE cotton trader on the left, as you look at it, Leicester Tigers emblem on the right, 1880 in the middle.

Private mail me a picture of the shirt if you can? Bradstone as sponsor means it isnt too old, with a few yearbooks we should be able to pinpoint the year....

As for the signatures, that is a different matter totally, we can but try!!

you could take a picture and put it on one of the many free sites i assume you'll want to take photos if your going to sell it anyway..

photobucket or similar... then just need to put a link on here.. i'm sure the old codgers will tell you straight away

sounds like an away shirt from around 2004 I reckon but may be wrong

Simple question - what colour is the tigers logo on the chest?

If it's gold then it's the shirt worn for the 2002-3 season. It first appeared at the start of the 2001-2 season (and was worn against Munster in the 2002 HC final win), but thereafter the sponsor changed from Vauxhall to Bradstone in the summer of 2002. The shirt that followed had no stripes at all!
