Allocation of tickets for GP final

Post by divingrob »

Hate to think this far in advanced but its on Bath's website already, I know that the GP final allocation is only 7500 and Tigers have I've heard 13000 season ticket holders (me included). How will these be distrubuted among the fans. I have an Idea but as I stand on the Cumbie I have a feeling we may be bottom of the pile.
Would like to know as Im going on holiday on Tuesday.

My guess would be that final tickets will be available to season ticket holders on a first come first served basis, with a limit of one per person. This has been the case in recent years as far as I know.

I have no idea why you think the fact you have a standing season ticket will somehow count against you though :smt017

I may have gone bonkers, but wasnt there an announcement that those ST holders who bought a ticket for the semi would have preference over those who did not?

Many if not most ST holders will have already purchased tickets through ticketmaster. In fact, you can buy tickets right now on the ticketmaster website.

tb1, you're quite right. Those attending the semi will get 1st dibs.

Taken from the news page this afternoon:
In the event of a Leicester Tigers win in Sunday's semi-final, tickets will go on sale from Monday. Supporters will be able to purchase in the following order, subject to availability:

Monday/Tuesday May 17/18: Season ticket holders who bought for the semi-final, one ticket per season ticket.

Wednesday/Thursday May 19/20: Season ticket holders who did not buy for the semi-final, one ticket per season ticket.

Friday May 21: Members, one ticket per member. Season ticket holders are also able to purchase extra tickets.

Saturday/Sunday/Monday May 22/23/24: General sales.

Any remaining unsold tickets have to be return to Twickenham on Tuesday, May 25.
It's only cheating if you get caught.

I already have my 4 tickets so that means more for others from the club. :smt001 :smt001

C'mon Tigers :smt027 :smt027 :smt027
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

Always seems to be a panic beforehand, then plenty of tickets around when they actually go on sale.

Hold on, so what about those non season ticket holders who bought tickets to the semi final? I thought we got at least some special treatment, no?

Tigers would appear to have deliberately misled those supporters.

If that is true they can cancel my season ticket, whats the point in having one if thats how they are going to treat you, lets hope they are true to their word :smt013
