I remember that move clearly, I was standing on the hill where the Alliance&Leicester stand is now. Les Cusworth could have made a great Tigers/England back coach.
He's not doing a bad job with Argentina.

Whilst I would never have a 'favourite' player, I would agree that Barry Evans was the most electrifying back I have ever seen at Welford Road. He was limited as a rugby player, but the response of the crowd whenever he had the ball in space told you a lot. His try scoring record was pretty sensational.

joel stransky is the only player i ever saw disrespect the saints armistice ceremony. instead of standing with his teammates he wandered about and spat on the ground in the minutes silence. so in my book he lacks class whatever his virtues as a player.

more recently, and more positively, i have to say i admire geordan murphy. i'd hazard a guess his name would come up much more often than any other if you asked this question of any number of opposition fans.
if you are happy and you know it, you are unusual.

Too many to choose from, but if pushed...

Lote for biggest impact on shortest stay at 13!

Dosser for all he brings to the youngsters

Johno for being immense

Geordan for his running lines and unfailing ability under the high ball

Ford for the future
Valhalla I am coming!
