It is a real shame actually because i've seen this boy play in the Superleague a few times and he's quality, but it's about time people realised that Jason Robinson was a one-off!

OK, he's not English but I seem to recall another League-to-union convert called Tuqiri who was pretty useful.
There have been far more league-to-union converts than simply Jason Robinson but knockers only seem to remember/highlight the failures.
Not all converts need to become international union superstars for them to be success stories.

Have to agree with POSTIGER, whenever I saw him play in superleague, he was "Quality". I was worried when he joined the pests - delighted he has gone back home.

I would agree re: Tuqiri but I was thinking more about domestic transfers. Chris Ashton may well indeed go on to be a great succes but he only had one full superleague season behind him and played Union as a kid. I do take the point about the relativity of success but I am referring to the very top level.
