Interesting Interviews with George Chuter (Updated)

Post by Clive Redman »

Afternoon,

Just read an interesting interview with George Chuter.

He talks about his future and the ins and outs at the club...

“I’ve got another year on my contract, so I’m going nowhere as far as I know. There are guys leaving and that’s something we’ll have to deal with. Over the last few years we have lost players that have served the club well, through retirement and through moving on, and that sort of thing happens.

"I think this year we’ve probably seen a few more leave than we’ve experienced in the last few years, but it’s just something we’ve got to get over and build up again next pre-season. Until then we’ve got a league programme to finish off and I know all the guys that are leaving will be 100% committed to that.”

1. Even senior tigers are gagging to play. Holidays nice but enough's enough. Wuss can expect to reap the whirlwind on Sat.
2. Old uns are coming to terms with colleagues leaving, but not necessarily thrilled by it all
3. He hasn't got a clue what to do when he retires but he's strong and playing well so he reckons he's good for a few seasons yet if we want him.

George Chuter Interview Part 2

Post by Clive Redman »

A bit more insight into George's life away from the field in the second part of the Soar Magazine interview.

He talks about the Tigers Call of Duty clique and gives his opinions on England...

“It’s important that we build on what happened against France in terms of performance but I think we also need to step up in a lot of areas. It’s all very well saying we did alright to lose against France, but that’s not really going to cut a lot of mustard in the World Cup.”

For the whole interview go to...

Cheers for now,

George is very funny on Twitter too, not the normal stuff that is usually posted. Here are a couple of his pearls of wisdom

" George Chuter likes singing and drinking whisky. People prefer to hear him drink whisky."

"George Chuter is glad he wasn't born in Germany, because he can't speak German."
