I'm getting really fed up of Saints this season - they're getting disturbingly good and they seem to have started beating us.
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

Both are very good sides.
We have beaten them at our place.
They have beaten us at their place.
As both our home grounds are fortresses, I guess the above sounds about right.

Away wins are hard to come by and Franklins Gardens is like a fortress for Saints.
The last 3 wins have all been at home for Saints.

Just got back. A bit of a curates egg really. Smurf & 36 combined to score one of the tries of the season, 36 fending five defenders off to score.
36 and smurf generally looking lively when they got the ball ( which wasn't that often).
Speedy was good under high ball and showed flashes of inspiration but he wasn't fit, you could tell. Good display after a break though.
Ellis was anonymous, despite scoring a charge down try. Summats up with the lad... dunno what but summat.
For looked like a rabbit in the headlights for much of the night. Kicking not very powerful either.
Our forwards were smashed off the ruck nearly every time, and set pieces weren't up to scrub.
Duffey had a stinker.
Wanderers looked confident and dangerous. Saints have the winning habit right now. the remind me of us in seasons past.
Ah well. Great to see some rugby unexpectedly on a Monday night ! Lets hope our schlepp to Sixways on Saturday yields more joy for tigers !

Re: Team for A-league game vs Northampton
It is the style of rugby that they are playing that makes all the difference for me. Their open play does have its downside but they are getting more consistent as the games go on. Not the finished article yet, but Jim and Westy have done a tremendous job of putting the right guidelines in place when they were relegated which comes about when you have a 'fresh set of eyes' to actually see where things are wrong. No disrespect to Grayson and Pountney, but JM and DW have transformed the Saints side and their time in Nat 1 didn't do them any harm at all, in fact it did a lot of good going by their results. Fortunately Barnwell has deep pockets and is taking the slow approach to improving the Saints Empire. If they get through the Munster game then I think they do have a realistic chance of the treble - think of the bragging rights then!POSTIGER wrote:I'm getting really fed up of Saints this season - they're getting disturbingly good and they seem to have started beating us.

Does anyone know what twelvetrees try's to matches played (Both 1st team and development team) ratio is? I am sure he has scored in every game he has played in.
