It's been good to see Lote in Tigers colours.

A pity we couldn't tempt him into a longer stay, but he was open from the start that it was a short term contract and he wanted to go back to Australia.

Has been better value than a lot of other overseas recruits we have seen (and are still seeing at times...)

I know Lote didn't always enjoy the weather (especially as it was soooooooo cold this winter!), but I think his short time at Leicester was a true win-win. We got to see a world-class wing even if his form was not perhaps outstanding, but he took the opportunity to go a long way to restore a battered reputation. He was classy and hard-working on the pitch, thoroughly professional off the field.

Best wishes to Lote and his family. Please do a lap of honour on Saturday to allow the fans to wish you the best for your future.

I must admit I was a little concerned when I read we had sign him, after reading about the colourful history, but he has turned out to be a model professional whose work ethic could not be questioned. When you watch him it makes you wonder where the bad reputation came from. He was always looking for the ball, never afraid to get in the ruck and some awesome defence.
