England Counties V Ireland Counties

Post by kevf »

Stourbridge are hosting the england counties v Ireland counties at Stourton park on the 26th Feb.

A good chance to support england if you can't make it to a HQ and at a good ground with some excellent beer.

England U20s have a game against Cambridge University at Grange Road this Thusday (21st) at 7.15pm as a warm-up to the U20 6Ns. Should hopefully be a few current Tiger cubs in the England ranks and maybe an ex-Tiger or two in the Blues side as well.

Not sure about the make-up of the England squad for this but the Ireland squad is made up of club players who don't have professional contracts. Was at one of these games a year or two back and it was an entertaining evening.

England Counties generally draws players from National 1 (ie tier 3 of the English game).
