Leeds V Tigers

Post by novice »

Hi all, just booked tickets for Leeds V Tigers on 14th February.
Last time we came here we caught the train from Chesterfield and then took a taxi to The Leeds Taps (£10) Its full of students but only just round the corner from the ground and you can get a pint and a hot meal for a fiver, bargain !
We came to see Tigers V Leeds last November and had a great day, so maybe see some of you there ?

As we live in chesterfield we are looking at going to that game as it only takes us about 45 mins by car.

Haven't bought tickets yet as we will leave it till nearer the time. Looking at past games at Leeds they never have a full ground so I don't think it would sell out (would it?). I would imagine you could buy tickets on the actual day of the match.

My daughter is currently at Leeds Uni so she may cadge a lift with us just to spend a day with her Uni friends.

Still think I will leave tickets till the last minute though as all Leeds home games seem to be played in near empty stadia. So I would imagine we shouldn't have any difficulty purchasing tickets.

Whenever I've been to Leeds it's been nowhere near full.

I'm sure you'll be ok getting entrance on the day.

I've only ever paid on the gate at Leeds.
I'm not sure if they give a discount for buying online though.
I've got friends not far from Leeds/Huddersfield, so I normally leave my car at their farm and catch a bus into Leeds, then a train to Headlingley - I can have a few beers and when I get back there's a nice roast dinner waiting... :smt001
