Olly Morgan for Tigers?

Post by Leghorn »

Speculation in the "Rugby Times" is making a few Glos fans on "Shedweb" forum a little hot under the collar:

" Morgan upset at new contract offer and may well be on his way to Tiggers".

Seems we're looking for a long term replacement for Geordie and not over confident of keeping "Bubbles" for next season.

I would personally welcome the addition of Morgan (cap permitting!)

Can be a bit hot headed at times but on his day is a very good full back. Runs good lines not sure our game plan at the moment would suit him but could show an indication of our intent. (Hopefully)

Thatd be a class signing! And Sinbad is hinting at leaving glos too....oh my word we have to sign him...we just have to. He is the answer to our prayers he is near world class at wing or outside centre..please god, il give all the toys santa brings to charity

But both are very injury prone. Do we need to keep the physios in work?

Well, they are both real quality players and I'd slaver at the prospect of them in Tigers stripes. And if Mauger does leave, the physios will need to have work to keep them at peak performance, and the variety of different breakages they could work on with Sinbad and Morgan would make them world-beatiers. So it's a win-win. Sorted. I'll do the Middle East next.

I would love to have sinbad at Tigers. He could rotate at outside centre with Hipkiss, and would provide something completely different.

OM would be a good slot-in for SH when he goes at the end of the season. Can't see any attempt by the Tigers making SH stay - France beckons and then back home apparently? Loti too probably? So Sinbad would make the backline more flexible as he can play both centre and wing. Good combo with OM at fb too.

Merry Christmas all

olly Morgan would be a good signing but not sinbad much over rated and never delivered against top opposition and is forever injured

Sounds like agents starting the negotiations for new contracts to me.
