Leeds v Leicester

Post by Bill W (2) »

Mighty Tigers engage bottom of the table Leeds in the Anglo Welsh Cup at the weekend. Will Cockerill and Back field top strength XV's or give their Academy Players a run out?

Here's hoping the development team get a run out, as some of you will see them in action for the first time, i hoping the Manu gets the opportunity to smach through some of them.
It makes more sense that they get to play them for the experience and everyone else (whose played week, week out for the last umpteen weeks) gets a rest.

Good luck to whoever is given a game against them! :smt023
And on the 7th day, god rested, he stood patiently and awaited the green light to start the game from SKY!

It's nice to see the ironic theme carrying through from other threads!

But I don't think Tim got it......
Me? Too subtle?

And as it is at Leeds, there will be ladies expressing their passion for their team through the medium of their terpsichorean skills.

"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

After their result at the beehive on Sunday, there's a part of me that would be quite happy to see us put out a weak team if onyl so that Leeds can get some kind of a run of form going before the premiership restarts

Would make for an interesting rest of the season seeing them, Bath and Gloucs slugging it out to avoid relegation.

Weak side?? Richard C must be scratching his head to find any two complete selections with the need to put up some kind of showing against SA on Fri night and less than 48 hours later a re-motivated Leeds viewing the Cup as their only chance of 'glory' this season, followed six days later by an improving Newport. There's bound to be an element of compromise for each game that could bode ill - anyone like to guess the total number of different players that will be on these team sheets?. I could see us winning only one of these.

This Sat as we're hosting Notts v Exeter 4.15 ko after the Strines on the big screen think I might make the trip down. Then it's off to Headingley after the Remembrance Day service.

Can we have an extended bench, as it is in pre season?

So that we can sub a number of the squad at around half time to allow them to play against Leeds for a half?

Have we got enough players available for an extended bench?
