Reminder regarding requests for recording of games

Post by Rizzo » Tue Oct 13, 2009 5:04 pm

Just to remind everyone (and advise anyone who does not know) that requests for (and offers of) recordings of games from Sky or TV broadcasts etc are not permitted on this open forum, whether free or for charity donation or payment.

This is a direct request from the Club as allowing this breaches the copyright of the broadcaster and the Club would be in trouble if they permitted this.

If you go looking in the club shop on the window-cill, they have DVDs of past games available. Well, they did last year, haven't looked for them this year though.

Does anybody know if the ban has been overturned on Insight Video selling DVDs of GP matches to fans?

Don't need to ask for them any more anyway - at least for the present until the new TV regime.

They're all on ESPN's Full Match Replays

I've found Movavi Screen Capture Studio 5 works well with the matches shown on the Aviva Prem site. It's not HD but it's certainly watchable on a 42" TV.
